Guihua Huang

Ms. Huang focuses on preparing and prosecuting patent applications with a technical emphasis in communication devices and software, communication standards, mechanical devices and medical devices.

Ms. Huang previously worked as an engineer and research scientist at Shanghai Bell Samsung Mobile Communication Co., Ltd. and Kumoh National Institute of Technology for eight years. Ms. Huang also worked as a patent specialist at GARAM Patent & Law Firm for five years.

Ms. Ms. Huang received Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication at Yanbian University of Science and Technology, and Master’s degree in Radio Communications Engineering at Kumoh National Institute of Technology.

Ms. Huang is fluent in Chinese and Korean.

Cheol Kim

Mr. Kim focuses on preparing and prosecuting patent applications with a technical emphasis in display devices, mobile devices, semiconductor process, secondary battery, OLED, material science, chemicals, chemical composition, pharmaceutical composition and sintered magnets.

Mr. Kim previously worked at FirstLaw P.C. in Seoul as a Korean patent attorney for ten years. He also worked as a research engineer at Hanwha Advanced Materials, focusing on a base film for flexible printed circuit board (FPCB).

Mr. Kim Kim received Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering at Seoul National University in Korea, and completed Master of Laws (LL.M.) program at Santa Clara University, specializing in Intellectual Property.

Hanhwe Kim, PH.D.

US Patent Attorney

Dr. Kim prepares and prosecutes patent applications with a technical emphasis oin computer software, user interfaces and systems.

Dr. Kim previously worked at Lee International IP and Law Office in Seoul, Korea on software copyright enforcement and Kim & Chang in Seoul on patent prosecution and prior art searches for patent litigation. Prior to becoming an attorney, Dr. Kim worked as a software engineer, researcher, and entrepreneur for twenty years.

Dr. holds Master’s and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Pittsburgh where he researched search engines and user interfaces.

Dr. Kim is a member of the California Bar, and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Joshua Chung Sik Park, PH.D.

US Patent Attorney

Dr. Park focuses on preparing and prosecuting patent applications with a technical emphasis in mechanical and electro-mechanical devices, optics and lasers, semiconductor manufacturing, networking and computer software arts, electronic hardware and devices, and medical devices.

Dr. Park previously worked at Hitach Global Storage Technolgies, Inc. as an in-house counsel. He also worked as a patent agent at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, LLP (formerly Burns, Doane, Swecker, & Mathis, LLP), Patterson & Sherridan, LLP and Dechert LLP(formerly Oppenheimer Wolff & Donnelly LLP). Prior to joining Oppenheimer Wolff & Donnelly LLP, Dr. Park worked as a research scientist at various research institutes for eleven years after receiving his Ph.D. degree in Aero/Astronautical Engineering at Stanford University.

Dr. Park's research projects at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) involved the design, development and research of space vehicles, air traffic control and Mars rover. He is a senior member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA).

Dr. Park is a member of the Arizona and Missouri Bars, and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Haesung Kwon, PH.D.

Registered US Patent Agent

Dr. Kwon focuses on preparing and prosecuting patent applications with a technical excellence on EE/Semiconductor/Storage/MEMS/Firmware/Software. He worked at Samsung Electronics, Transparent Networks, DellEMC and a few startup companies in San Jose, California. He, as an inventor, holds more than 40 US Patents and pending applications.



Gill W. Suh, PH.D.,

Registered US Patent Agent

Dr. Suh focuses on preparing and prosecuting patent applications with technical emphasis on materials science – semi-conductors, superconductors, photovoltaic, optical materials, glass and amorphous materials, nano-materials, catalysts, high strength structural materials, the chemical and mechanical processing of materials and coatings, high energy physics and plasma dynamics.

Dr. Suh, previously worked as the ‘in country’ program coordinator for the Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR) and project portfolio manager for the Department of Energy in Russia. He managed a project portfolio worth more than $18 million during his tenure in Russia as a technical expert contracted by the US Government. He also managed projects funded by Air Products (Cu-catalyst for mid temperature WGS reaction), GE (Intense plastic deformation of Ti-alloys under complex loading), Samsung (Nano-scale transistor design for terabyte memory) and others (Nanorod based field emission display device).

Dr. Suh received his doctorate, M.E. and B.E. in metallurgical engineering at Korea University in Seoul, South Korea. He is fluent in English, Korean and Russian.
